Description

Lochcarron Braeriach medium weight tartan offers a well-balanced combination of lightness and durability. Made from 100% pure new wool, it is traditionally used mainly for kilts and bespoke garments, while also being highly suitable for soft furnishings and upholstery. Thanks to its medium weight, the fabric has a clean, slightly firmer handle and gives a smart, refined appearance. It is an excellent choice for men’s kilts, tartan trousers, coats, jackets, bags, cushions, curtains, and covers.

Lochcarron produces this quality in a width of 140 cm and a weight of approximately 13 oz per yard (280 g/m²), making it a versatile tartan suitable for both traditional and more practical uses. Ideal for lighter kilts, other garments, or home accessories.

Material: 100% wool.

The minimum order quantity is 0.5 metre. For small orders, delivery times may be longer — due to shipping costs and customs administration, it is not economical to import less than 4 metres of tartan from Scotland in one shipment.
