8 yard kilt - machine sewn
Description
8-yard kilt – machine-sewn

Still a kilt – Made from traditional wool fabric (tartan) that will last the wearer a lifetime. Eight yards (approx. 7.4 m) of material are used in its manufacturing. However, instead of being handmade by a kiltmaker, this kilt is machine-sewn, which allows for a more affordable price.
The kilt comes with leather straps, high-quality lining, and precise workmanship from experienced kiltmakers in Scotland.
Kilt material
Kilts are made from wool tartan – a fabric woven exclusively for the production of kilts. It has a specific type of weave, the hem is finished so that it does not fray (even without hemming), and the fabric is coated with Teflon to increase its resistance to dirt.
You can find a sample book of tartans from our "court" supplier Marton Mills on this page: Tartan sample book.

How to order a kilt
To order a kilt, please measure yourself according to the kilt measuring instructions. Please include the measurements in the order notes.
As kilts are made to measure, delivery time is approximately 3 months (may vary depending on tartan availability).
Flasks (suspenders) in the color of the tartan can be ordered with the kilt for 700 CZK.
