Lindisfarne Brooch in pewter, made in Scotland. A small Highland detail for a jacket, scarf or lapel. Size: 3 cm diameter.
Lindisfarne ornament draws on the Insular art of the early medieval period. Interlaced lines form a calm, balanced motif that works beautifully on jewellery and plaid brooches alike.
It works nicely on a lapel, scarf or wool plaid. The raised detail shows best against a plain or quietly patterned background.
